How does it work

It couldn't be simpler. Just search or browse to find the image you are looking for. Add it to the shopping basket. When you've added all required images to the basket, click the 'basket' link and verify that you have the correct images. When you are happy to proceed, hit the 'checkout' link. You can then register (or sign in if you are already registered). On registration you will be passed to the Paypal website where your transaction will be made. You do not have to have a Paypal account, you can pay by credit card instantly. On payment you will be automatically redirected back to REEFOTO.COM where you can download the images from your personal account page.

Search Tips

Following some simple conventions when searching will help you find the right image quickly.

Exact Phrase: Searching by 'exact phrase' will return results for the specific phrase only. For example searching on 'Poole Harbour' will return all results for 'Poole Harbour' and not 'Poole's Harbour'. However, if you are looking for more general images of 'boats on Poole Harbour' it may better to search using the All Words method, eg. 'boats poole harbour' as this will return all images with all specified words indexed (eg. 'boats on Poole Harbour' / boats in Poole Harbour' / power boats in Poole Harbour'. The Any Words search is a very general search. Try not to use linking words like 'and, on, it, some, etc' as you will get more results than you require. Use this method when you are searching for themes with many possible naming options (eg. 'beachball, ball, inflateable'). This will return images with any of the above phrases indexed.

If you can't find what you're looking for, or have any suggestions for images or locations, we'd love to hear from you. This website will only be successful if we can meet the needs of our customers. Please email us using the suggestions contact form and we'll aim to get a shot online as soon as possible. We do undertake specific commissions if required and will be happy to provide a quote for this.

FULL size is generally used for panoramic or odd shaped images where the final size is specified in the description text.

Important: MIN and MED are available for instant download from your Account page. Once purchased, MAX and FULL size images will be emailed to you, or specially uploaded to an accessible area on the site when your order is completed.

* Note this is the largest size in any one dimension - ie. this is the width of a landscape image.

**Size varies in Jpeg images depending on the tonal content - simpler images make smaller files

Why the watermark?

The REEFOTO watermark protects our images from copyright abuse, while giving you enough information to be able to choose which image meets your needs. You may download Preview images for positioning in projects or showing clients. When you purchase and download the 'real' image, it will not show the watermark

International buyers


Because we use Paypal we accept payments from abroad in many currencies. And, because our images are downloadable, they can be purchased and downloaded from any country.
