WHO? Justin Smith (that's me!) is a Bournemouth-based Graphic Designer, Photographer and Web Designer. I graduated from Portsmouth College of Art and Design in 1991 having completed my Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography course. My first work was in the music and video industry, illustrating video and record covers for a diverse range of musical talents from Venom and Napalm Death, to Dvorak and Tchaikovsky. I then became a full time Graphic Designer, then Creative Director at a local design and advertising agency. I set up Orbital Design in 1999 where I currently work as Account Director, though I still keep my hand in as a designer, photographer and website designer. REEFOTO is my own personal project (fast becoming an obsession!), inspired by much of the commissioned work I undertake for clients in the holiday and travel sectors.
WHAT? REEFOTO is a royalty-free photographic library. This means that agencies and businesses can purchase rights to use our images on their own marketing materials, such as websites, leaflets, brochures, etc. All REEFOTO images are available as high resolution jpeg files in a number of file sizes (click here for more info). I shoot digitally using a Nikon D2X camera, professional lenses and filters. It is also possible to order prints and stretched canvases - for more details click here.
WHEN? REEFOTO is a 24/7 on-line library. This means that anyone can browse, buy and download images at any time (except MAX-sized images) without the need to contact us. This is especially helpful for international users who operate in different time zones. PAYPAL is our preferred method of payment which, again, operates 24/7. WHERE? Almost all images on this website are from the New Forest in the east, to the Dorset Coast in the west. This area is so full of interest that it would be crazy to try and document anything larger. The exceptions are images from personal trips which I feel may be worthwhile additions to the site.
